Our terrific Festival of Stuff runs during the first week of July, featuring four fantastic days of bookable masterclasses before culminating in a big drop-in Saturday Extravaganza of materials and making.
We kick off the festival with four fantastic days of bookable masterclasses, which have included carpentry, not-so-expanded-polystyrene moulding, arduino weather station making, Japenese paper making, linoleum printing, pyrotechnic displays, and much more. The festival will end with a large open day, taking over the whole street outside of the Institute of Making. We will be bringing back some of our favourite activities from throughout the year and some new discoveries. Previous activities included; basket weaving, cyanotype printing, sugru throwing, yellow road making painting, teeth cleaning, copper bowl hammering, DNA fabrication, fake marbling and slime making to name a few.
The full schedule is announced in mid-late May, be the first to receive news and updates by joining our mailing here.
All are welcome at our Festival of Stuff. Booking is required for masterclasses running from Monday 1st July until Thursday 4th July. There is no need to book for the Saturday Extravaganza on 6th July which is drop-in from 1-5pm.
