Repair Cafe: Textiles and Clothing

Drop in - walk in anytime between 10am-4pm
Have you got holes in your jumper, rips in your jeans, broken bags or trashed trainers? Join Zoe and Romain for an in-person guide to fixing textiles.
We will provide materials, thread, needles and pins in order for you to patch, sew or darn new life into your beloved clothes, accessories, trainers or other textile items.
No experience or skill necessary, all welcome!
To take part in the session you will need:
- a textile item in need of repair (or you can practice on one of our broken textile items)
Repair Cafe at Institute of Making, 17th February from 10am-4pm
Besides the above activity, we are hosting a range of drop-in repair activities for the UCL community. You can also drop into:
- Maintainsplaining (fixing your home)
- Plant care & repair
- If it's broke, don't fix it! (treating a broken item through arts and heritage repair methods)
- Office furniture repair (advance booking required)
- Electronics Repair (advance booking required)

We would like to make sure that everyone can join our events and use our website as easily as possible.
